In Michaelmas 2026 we’re running a beginner fellowship, an advanced focussed discussion group, and an AIxBio tabletop exercise with the Oxford AI Safety Initiative.
Apply to both programmes through EA Oxford by 23:59 on Wednesday 14 October (week 1). Interviews run until 21 October, and accepted applicants are invited to a kick-off dinner on Sunday 25 October.

Beginner Biosecurity Fellowship
A five-week introduction to where biological risks come from, pandemic prevention and preparedness, AI and biotechnology, and the responses that could make society more resilient. No prior knowledge of biosecurity or biology is required. Weekday evenings.

Advanced Focussed Discussion Group
You will meet every 2 weeks to network and discuss recent papers that fellow members will present during the session, so there is no set reading. Three fortnightly sessions, each followed by an optional social.
